Every odds site compares bookmakers to each other. They all carry vig and they all copy each other's lines, so the answer is only ever who is least bad. VoxOdds holds a second, independent price: the same outcome on a real-money prediction market, where anyone can take either side and nothing is padded with a house margin. Two references, the vig stripped out of both, and the arithmetic in the open.

Decimal, american or fractional odds all work. Leave the odds blank to just get the fair price.

How the verdict is produced

  1. Two references, not one. The prediction-market price is real money with both sides tradeable. The bookmaker line is de-vigged with the power method, per book, then taken as a median so one stale quote can't move it.
  2. The verdict is arithmetic. Expected value, break-even odds and Kelly come from the quoted prices. A language model may explain a result here; it never produces one. A hallucinated probability inside a betting recommendation is the one failure this product could not survive.
  3. Best price wins, full stop. The table ranks on price. Books that pay us a commission are marked and are ranked identically to books that don't — including books we've never heard of, which appear automatically when the feed prices them.
  4. Disagreement is reported, not smoothed. When the two references are more than 5pp apart we say so and tell you the verdict is low confidence, instead of quietly picking the one that reads better.

Keep the receipts

If you have your own estimate, submit it. VoxOdds is the neutral scorekeeper: your probability is stored append-only next to the market price at that instant, Brier-scored when the event resolves, and published — wins and losses — at the forecaster leaderboard. Nobody else gives a bettor an audited record of their own judgement. We hold ourselves to it too: our own models lose to the market, and we publish that.

Agents can call this directly over MCP at https://voxodds.com/mcp:

  • check_bet(event, side, odds_offered) — the full verdict
  • find_best_price(event, side) — the price table alone
  • GET /api/v1/bet-check?event=&side=&odds= — same thing over HTTP

Coverage

Best-price routing runs today across Polymarket and Kalshi — two real-money venues that price the same events, disagree often, and both carry a direct link here. 51 bookmakers and exchanges are catalogued for the sportsbook comparison. Any book the odds feed returns is compared even if it isn't listed — a book we haven't catalogued is a gap in our notes, not a reason to hide a price from you.

Sportsbook price comparison is pending an odds feed; the prediction-market references and cross-venue routing work regardless. Betting legality depends on where you are; nothing here is financial advice.
